I've been working hard on the music section of the website and have introduced some new features that (dare I say it myself) I am quite proud of.

Firstly, we're using a brand new music player. It's much prettier than the old one, and it now uses the same colour schemes as your profiles so it blends in seemlessly, unlike the old gray player.

Secondly, the music editor page (where you order the songs you want in your playlist) has been totally re-written. It now uses a really simply drag-n-drop interface that allows you to order your tracks and preview them if need be. It really is much much simpler.

You can also use this player on other sites (MySpace, Friendster, etc) and to make this really simple the code for this is on your music page. I've already put it on my & the Club Bohemia MySpace pages and it's works a treat.

The mp3 download page has also been re-written using the new music player as well and I've also added a lot of other new features. There are now charts for the most popular artists, bands featured most frequently on member profiles. There's a Top 50 songs, which displays the most popular songs on the website and you can also view the most recently added tracks.

The new player also allows you to play any track on the current page without loading a separate window, so it's really much simpler to listen to songs now.

There's also new search engine that lets you search by song title or artist name and you can also just click on an artist name to see all tracks by them.

This is just the start, I've got lots of new features planned for this section but it's already a wonderful new section and I urge you to go play with it now...

The mp3 section has a few little glitches due to the change to the layout of the website I made last month. The music player should be working again (and I plan to make some improvements to it soon as well). You can't link to songs on MySpace though. You can only link to mp3 files on the internet and MySpace doesn't give the URL of the songs (well it does if you are really sneaky but it's quite complicated).

Anyway, give it a shot now.
