Louis XIV - The Best Little Secrets Are Kept
Take your average American rock band, put them in a dark room and play them everything Marc Bolan ever recorded
until it's all they can think about. Then get them to make a 'new' T.Rex album. That might not be what happened
but certainly this new album from Louis XIV bears a great debt to glams' godfather.

Cuddly Toys - Young & Dangerous The Best Of Cuddly Toys
A relatively unknown band from the early 80s who released three albums. The first was pretty much a punk affair,
but then let their Bowie-esque influences come through on their second album, before trying to cash in on the
new-romantic wave on their third. Surprisingly they managed to pull off all three genres with aplomb and this
'best of' attempts to cull the best tracks from their last two albums.

Bill Nelson - Blue Moons & Laughing Guitars
Back in 1974 Be Bop Deluxe were a little late for the glam scene ("the fag end" so to speak)
but still managed 6 albums and moderate success (a couple of top 20 hits) before disbanding in 1979.
Their first album Axe Victim was their glammiest and a great review can be found here.
Since then their lead singer Bill Nelson has been very prolific and here
Alan Sharif reviews one of his most popular 'demo' albums,
1992's Blue Moons & Laughing Guitars.
